I was honored to be part of the Constitutional Convention 2024 (CC2024) in Buenos Aires and collaborate with the talented team at
Input | Output on this groundbreaking event.

The CC2024 was an extraordinary gathering that left an indelible mark on the Cardano community and the future of decentralised governance. It was more than just an event, it was a celebration of unity, progress, and a shared vision for a truly global movement.

At the heart of this monumental occasion were two simultaneous events in Buenos Aires and Nairobi, connecting delegates and their traveling alternates for a shared experience. This marked the culmination of over 50 global workshops, which brought together 1,500+ community members with a singular vision: for Cardano to become the first blockchain to have a Constitution and on-chain governance.

Highlights of the Event

The Signing Ceremony

One of my proudest contributions was the creation of a commemorative Constitution parchment, made from Japanese paper to honor Cardano’s origins. Witnessing delegates and drafters sign this parchment in the historic Salon de Actos at UBA’s law faculty was a moment I’ll treasure forever. Transforming this iconic venue with full-scale event production to stage this epic milestone was deeply rewarding.

Unity in Diversity

It was inspiring to see delegates and alternates from over 50 countries forming new relationships and friendships.

Stunning Branding & Set Design

From banners adorning UBA law faculty throughout the week to immersive set designs, the event branding truly brought the vision to life.

Cultural Celebrations

After the signing ceremony, delegates were led by Malambo performers onto the UBA steps, where thousands of students were celebrating their graduations beneath our Cardano banners.

At our gala dinner in San Telmo, attendees were taken on a historic journey through the neighborhood’s tunnels, complete with Tango performances to cap off the celebration.

Global Connectivity

Tens of thousands of remote attendees joined us via a live 4K stream, with a two-way feed between Buenos Aires and Nairobi to ensure seamless communication between the delegates across continents.
